“It should be written into law that all car sales companies should deal with their public the way that Direct Cars do. I cannot buy from a company who just hang around and try to pressure you into buying a car you don't want. The service at Direct cars is exemplary. You can wander round all day long, ask for the keys to look inside any vehicle, and the staff are there in the background (not hovering) if you want any advice. I've just bought my second car from them in 3 years, and I wouldn't entertain looking anywhere else. Andy (our helpful salesman) was very courteous and professional. The pricing of our car was very fair and we felt Andy was completely honest with us regarding all our questions. Direct cars offered us very close to what we hoped for the trade in for our vehicle. Our trust in Direct Cars is such, that even though they're on the wrong side of Sheffield for us, we will only take our car there for it to be regularly serviced and MOT'd - because we know, they will do a thoroughly professional job.”

“I recently bought a used car from Direct Cars and was very pleased with the experience overall. The staff were all polite, friendly and helpful and everything was explained clearly to me. There was no pressure selling and my family and I were able to inspect the car by ourselves; and I was offered the option of trying the car out on the yard behind the car showroom, which for me was preferable to taking a car out onto the roads when I was not familiar with the controls. As the car was due an MOT, this was done plus a sevice and all the advisory work was done free of charge, they also put in a new Cam belt. When I'd got the car home I noticed an issue whith the clutch, I was told to bring the car back in, repairs were done promptly despite it being a bank holiday weekend and free of charge as it was under warranty for a month from Direct Cars. I would definitely buy a car again from this dealer.”

“Really happy with the car and the service provided by Sean. As part of the deal, I paid £99 to get the car serviced/MOT’d and valeted amongst others. Upon receiving the car at home, in the front and back of the car there was dirt. The car had not been fully valeted. I’ve contacted Direct Cars today at 10:10 and spoke to a member of the team (name unknown, but you should be able to trace who took the call) and told them that it had not been fully valeted, especially in the back seats. They said it had been valeted but it clearly hadn’t been fully valeted. I asked if there is anything they’d be able to do, to remedy this, before submitting this review. He said “no, that’s fine”. Very blunt, but a straight answer - but not what I expected given the amount I have paid for the car. As above, couldn’t fault the service from Sean. However, really disappointed with after sale service and the car not being fully valeted. The terminology should change from a valet to a quick clean, to avoid the high expectation that comes with a valet.”

“Excellent experience, from contacting Ian for a test drive, to the purchase and collection of my vehicle. Nothing was too much trouble. All questions were answered and issues corrected. I would definitely recommend Direct Cars for their personal assistance throughout my car shopping experience. It was easy, hassle free and my car was in pristine condition. Ian was professional at all times and was a pleasure to do business with.”

“Excellent service, no pushy sales people. Very polite & professional. Serviced & checked car before release. They noticed the rear camera wasn't up to standard. So offered either a later collection or to come back when the camera had arrived. Only had the car 2 weeks, but super happy with it. I would certainly recommend Direct Cars.”

“We reserved the vehicle ahead of viewing it as we were having to travel a couple of hours to go and see it. The gentleman on the phone was lovely, very helpful answering our questions, and wished us a safe journey. Traffic on the motorway was horrendous on our way there, and as we were alot later than what we had said we'd be, the gentleman rung to check that we were OK. We arrived with only 25 minutes to look at the vehicle and test drive it on the grounds. Tom gave us the key and left us to have a look and a drive, and told us where he'd be if we wanted him for anything. There was no pressure or babbling on like you get with other vehicle sales establishments. The vehicle is exactly what we want and need, and sorting out the paperwork was quick and easy. Both gentlemen that we dealt with from reserving, to buying, and then to collecting were friendly, easy to talk to and professional. We are glad we bought our vehicle from here and would definitely recommend Direct Cars. Thanks guys!”
