It should be written into law that all car sales companies should deal with their public the way that Direct Cars do. I cannot buy from a company who just hang around and try to pressure you into buying a car you don't want. The service at Direct cars is exemplary. You can wander round all day long, ask for the keys to look inside any vehicle, and the staff are there in the background (not hovering) if you want any advice. I've just bought my second car from them in 3 years, and I wouldn't entertain looking anywhere else. Andy (our helpful salesman) was very courteous and professional. The pricing of our car was very fair and we felt Andy was completely honest with us regarding all our questions. Direct cars offered us very close to what we hoped for the trade in for our vehicle. Our trust in Direct Cars is such, that even though they're on the wrong side of Sheffield for us, we will only take our car there for it to be regularly serviced and MOT'd - because we know, they will do a thoroughly professional job.

Purchased a car from here and so far a good experience, professional and friendly. Dealt with Ian who is extremely helpful, very good customer service. Car was prepared on the agreed date and a few items that were missing were quickly sorced. I

First I would like to say I am more than happy with the car, glad I went with this choice. However I have a few things I wasn't that impressed with. I never received a call, it was always me phoning to find out what was happening and get updates. I got told I would have the £100 package for free which included a valet. The car had barely been cleaned inside. I had asked about the wheels being touched up to get rid of damage and a little dint taken out. I was told this would be looked at and I would be told, I was never told anything. I feel like this was ignored once I had paid my deposit. When I asked about it again on a later call I was told we would talk about it when I collected the car. After looking at the wheels I am 98% sure nothing had been done to them. These few things has put a bit of a negative sign on the whole process of buying the car.

I bought the car online and didn't actually view it in person until it was delivered. The car was immaculate and delivered on time. Great communication with Tom and the sales team with all questions answered promptly. Very happy with the vehicle and would definitely use Direct Cars again.

Staff very approachable. Wasn't pressured into buying and you can view the car alone. Shout out to Ian Whiting for going above and beyond. He managed to arrange for me to pick my car up a day earlier due to unforseen circumstance. Thank you Ian. Have already recommended Direct Cars to family and friends.

Ian ,the salesman was so helpful and courteous he really made me feel at ease with everything but the aftersales and customer care leaves a lot to be desired. I picked the car up on Monday and by Saturday I had a flat battery and couldn't even get in as the locks wouldn't open.I rang Direct Cars and Ian answered and talked me through how to get in manually . It still wouldn't start so I was asked to ring my roadside assistance as there was nobody working in the garage to come and help me, it was a bank holiday. Managed to get it started and took it back on Tuesday morning to get it checked out but was told that it couldn't be looked at for at least two weeks. As I didn't have much confidence in the car I decided to leave it with them in the hope I get it back quicker than the two weeks as I'm going on holiday soon.At present I've spent £13,300 and have no car ,they didn't hsve a loan car either. Neville , who was in charge of the servicing team , rang me up at 12.30 and told me I could pick the car up as they had run a full diagnostic on it and everything had checked out ok. Wasn't convinced but took it home anyway and up to now it's been ok. Thanks to Neville for getting me back on the road.

I do believe that we have managed to rectify the fault to your satisfaction earlier than we initially stated and we only needed your car for a few days. Very good customer service and confidence inspiring service team. I put a deposit on a car over the phone and when I collected it 10 days later the car was ready, valeted and all advisories sorted when MOT’d. Never felt any pressure to buy the car without being satisfied after the refundable deposit had been paid. Literally can’t fault the whole experience. I would definitely buy a car from them again.
