I recently visited Direct Cars after spotting a vehicle online, and I was really impressed with their wide selection. Although I initially came to view just one car, there were plenty of great options on the lot. Luke, one of the salesmen, was very helpful and arranged an on-site test drive, which was a great bonus. One downside was the two-week wait to collect the car due to their high sales volume, which was a bit disappointing. After picking up the car, I experienced a few issues. Direct Cars resolved the first problem quickly, but unfortunately, the same issue reoccurred just hours after getting the car back. They took the car back again and had it for another two weeks. During this time, I felt a bit let down due to the lack of communication—I wasn’t kept updated and felt like I was being pushed to the back of the queue. That changed when I got in touch with Dave, who called me daily with updates and really kept me in the loop. His communication made a big difference. Despite the setbacks, I would still recommend Direct Cars. They addressed all the issues with the car and stood by their service, taking the car back promptly each time. I’m now happily enjoying my new car, and I’d like to thank both Luke and Dave for their support throughout the process.

Helpful , not pushy , plenty of information. Wanted me to drive just one car ! I drove two ! Said one lady drove 10 & never bought a car .

Luke was amazing. Really good experience. Couldn’t have asked for any more. His hands were tied on one thing that frustrated me. We bought a car worth £20k. 3 years old. For Direct Cars to put it through the MOT and fix all advisories your policy is that you offer it as a deal for £99? Surely this is what the £20k is about? Felt wrong? I get if for older cars or lower values, but in this deal it was out of context.

Hi, It's Lovely to hear you had a really good experience and found Luke amazing, we will be sure to pass this lovely comment on to him. In regards to the additional £99 fee, this is our Pre-Delivery Package which is optional but it does give you a interim service, 12m MOT (all advisories rectified) if less than 6m remaining, re-valet, 10litres of fuel and subscription to our loyalty scheme which we feel is value for money. Like previously stated it is optional if you had chose not to pay it the vehicle would still have had a multi-point safety inspection but minus the above points, we hope this clarifies things for you. We do hope you are thoroughly enjoying your new vehicle and we will look forward to seeing you again in the future.

My overall experience with direct cars was good, the staff were professional and constructive and the sales process more straightforward than other car supermarkets. I did not like being told that there was a further £100 to pay to get the car into a fit state to drive away, this should be included in the asking price and felt underhand. The car has not disappointed, I had an independent check carried out for peace of mind and all was good.

In regards to the £99 Pre-Delivery Package it does include a service, 12m MOT with all advisories rectified (if less than 6m remaining), valet and 10litres of fuel which we feel is value for money. It is optional and the vehicle would still have had a multiple point safety check if you chose not to purchase it. Bought a new car and traded in my previous car. Think I was low called with the part-ex price. Was given £12k and now seen it for sale at £16.5k. Understand they’ve got to make money but thought the £4.5k was high. Happy with new car.

Daniel was really helpful and we never felt under pressure. He was polite, friendly and did all he could to help. The showroom was very welcoming for children as well with Lego etc which made it an easier experience.

I went to purchase a vehicle but decided to choose another car which I am very happy with. The salesman let us look at our leisure no pressure at all, but when I found a car I was interested in we felt that we didn't have his full attention as he was buzy with other customers so it didn't feel totally personnel but it is a buzy car showroom so expected. Overall I was happy with the service I received.
